Our Carbon Fiber Roll Wrapped Tubes are manufactured by wrapping unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg tape around a mandrel with 75-80% of the carbon fiber running longitudinally. This type of construction offers a high stiffness to weight ratio tube. Recommended when the ID need s to have a tighter tolerance.

Carbon Fiber Solid Rods are made from continuous carbon fibers in a vinyl-ester or epoxy based matrix. They are extremely stiff, lightweight and have a very low coefficient of expansion. Carbon fiber rods have incredible linear strength due to the orientation of the carbon fibers and are used in a variety of applications.

Carbon Tubes are the ultimate push rods since they contain 95% unidirectional carbon fiber running longitudinally and are covered with a light glass scrim. Our tubes are manufactured in a pultrusion process. This design offers a high stiffness to weight ratio and makes these tubes ideal for applications that that require a tighter OD tolerance.

Carbon Fiber Solid Rectangular Rods are made from continuous carbon fibers in a vinyl-ester base unless otherwise noted. Epoxy base available upon request. They are extremely stiff and lightweight and have a very low coefficient of expansion. Carbon fiber rectangular rods make it easy to build or reinforce small, lightweight carbon fiber structures. The rectangular rods are easy to work with and can be bonded to carbon fiber laminates, plywood, or even aluminum to provide local stiffening and reinforcement.

Unlike conventional filament winding, our fiberglass tubes are manufactured by using a unique production process whereby longitudinal fibers are oriented to provide excellent tensile, compressive, and flexural properties. Circumferential windings between longitudinal ply’s give the tubing exceptional burst, crush, and transverse strength. The tubes can be used for push rods or the outer sleeve for wing joiner tube assemblies.
