Braided Kevlar® Cord is an eight strand, tightly woven braided Kevlar® Cord

Kev-Cord is composed of an eight strand braided Kevlar® filament inner core which is surrounded with a high density vinyl jacket. This combination provides a control linkage that will not stretch and is protected from fraying by the vinyl coating. It is ideal for any application that requires a precise pull-cord actuator. Kev-Cord may be used with delrin pulleys, threaded through guide tubes and used in tension unsupported.
Included: Each 7 yard package comes with four crimp sleeves specifically sized for either the .038" or the .058".

Delrin Pulleys are ideally suited for the use of pull applications with the Kev-Cord. The rugged construction and smooth surface will not bind the Kev-Cord.

Kev-Cord Crimp Sleeves can be used to crimp a loop for the attachment of the cable to the control horn, eye of turn buckle. Used with the Kev-Cord.

The Kev-Cord connector is specifically designed for the .038” Kev-Cord. It has a 4-40 threaded end with a hole running the full length of the connector that allows the .038" Kev-Cord to pass through the connector and be knotted on the end. Once knotted, secure the knot with CA glue. A clevice can be threaded on to the connector over the Kev-Cord for attachment to control horns. The connector also incorporates a hex-head that can be turned with a wrench for adjustment of the pull lines.
Please Note: The 4-40 Clevice (female part shown), is not included. This part can be purchased at any local hobby shop.
