Vacuum Bagging Fittings

EZ-Vac Connector

EZ-Vac Connector

An all metal, threaded type connector that allows a convenient way to penetrate the nylon bag film or tube so that the vacuum hose can easily connect to the bag. Can be reinstalled when replacing bag tube. Has barbed end that accepts 1/4" neoprene tubing.

  • Max Temp 150 °F

Vacuum Connector-Aluminum

Vacuum Connector-Aluminum

For connecting Vacuum through thin film or reusable vacuum bagging systems. Is designed to work with the quick disconnects at temperatures up to 500 °F (260°C).

  • 1/4" NPT Thread Fitting (male)
  • Max Temp 500 °F
  • Airtech Product: Vac Valve 401C

High Temp Quick Disconnects

High Temp Quick Disconnects

This high-temp quick disconnect is made of high carbon steel that has been plated to slow oxidation. Each end has high temperature FKM O-rings that withstand up to 500°F (260°C). The quick disconnect has two way shut-off fittings. When they are disconnected, the air flow is shut off in both the plug and socket. This allows your vacuum valves to remain under vacuum pressure after the vacuum source has been disconnected. Parts can then be moved from the bagging area to the curing area without loss of vacuum.

  • Standard size: 1/4" female NPT.
  • Note: Item is sold as a set (male/female), or as separate halves.
  • Airtech Product: AQD 500TF

˝ Hose Connector

˝ Hose Connector

A convenient way to penetrate the nylon bag film or tube so that the vacuum hose can easily connect to the bag. Can be reinstalled when replacing bag tube. Has barbed end that accepts 1/2" neoprene tubing.Comes with a rubber gasket and larger nut to allows for better seal.

  • Max Temp 150 °F

Vacuum Gauge

Vacuum Gauge

The vacuum gauge reads from 0 to 30" of Hg vacuum. It is used to monitor the vacuum obtained when bagging to prevent crushing of the foam cores.

  • Please note: Gauge has 1/8" pipe fitting. Can be reduced for 1/4" neoprene tubing using the pipe to hose fitting (see below) and separately purchased 1/8" threaded pipe.
Quantity:

Vacuum Switch

Vacuum Switch

An inexpensive and reliable full range miniature vacuum switch with good sensitivity, repeatability and set point tolerance. It has a dead band of 2-3" Hg. (i.e. it will shut the pump off at 18" Hg and turn the pump on at approx. 15" Hg). Adjustable from 1.5" to 30"Hg.

The Vacuum Switch has a 1/4" pipe thread. Order pipe to hose fitting if you intend to plumb into 1/4" neoprene tubing.

Quantity:

Vacuum Switch Relay

Vacuum Switch Relay

For pumps larger than 1/16hp, a relay rated at 10 Amps should be used.

Quantity:

Neoprene Tubing

Neoprene Tubing

This tubing is industrial grade vacuum tubing that will not collapse when vacuum is applied. It is very flexible, will not crack, and stays soft. It can be used with 1/4" barbed type fittings for easy assembly.

Quantity:

Neoprene Tubing Clamp

Neoprene Tubing Clamp

An inexpensive and convenient way to shut vacuum off when bagging. Slips over 1/4" OD tubing and can be snapped on and off.

Quantity:

Brass "T" Fitting

Brass "T" Fitting

Allows the hook-up of two bags when using the Auto-Vac system. Fits 1/4" neoprene tubing.

  • Please note:  We do NOT recommend using 2 bags with the EZ-Vac System
Quantity:

Pipe to Hose Fitting

Pipe to Hose Fitting

1/8” NPT to ¼” barbed fitting that with accept a hose with an inside diameter of ¼ inch.

Quantity:

Relief Valve

Relief Valve

The relief valve is a valve used to control or limit the pressure in a system. It is pre-set to open at 10" Hg and close at approx. 8" Hg. It should be used when bagging white foam wings to prevent crushing the wings if the vacuum switch fails to turn the pump off at 7" Hg.

Quantity:

Check Valve

Check Valve

The check valve is used to prevent the loss of vacuum in the bag when the pump is not operating. Install with arrow pointing toward direction of flow.

Quantity:

Bleeder Valve

Bleeder Valve

An adjustable valve that allows the vacuum to be regulated to prevent crushing of light density foam. It's an inexpensive way to regulate vacuum pressure. However, the vacuum pump must run continuously until the epoxy resin cures.
