Nylon Vacuum Bag Tubes

Nylon Vacuum Bag Tubes

The tubes can be used for bagging applications up to 350°F, if the two ends are sealed with the high temperature sealant tape. For room temperature or low heat bagging up to 125°F the Quick-Lock Seals can be used to conveniently seal both ends. The widths noted are the widths of the bags’ lay flat dimensions.

  • Thickness: .003"
  • Widths: 18”, 36” and 60”
  • Airtech Product: Wrightlon 6400

Quick Lock Seals

Quick Lock Seals

A quick, convenient, innovative method of sealing the nylon bagging tube exclusively from ACP. Eliminates the need for vacuum bagging tape to seal the end of the bag tube. Allows easy access into the bag and repeated usage of the bag tube. Simply lay the bag tube over the rod and snap the “C” channel on down over the rod.

  • Lengths: 20”, 40”, and 70”
  • Max Operating Temperature: 125°F.
  • Note: Sold individually

Nylon Vacuum Bag Film

Nylon Vacuum Bag Film

Single sided Nylon vacuum bag film for applications up to 400 °F. Semi-flexible - will conform to slight curves without the need for pleating. Requires vacuum bag sealant tape to seal.

  • Thickness: .002”
  • Widths: 36”, 60”
  • Note: Single sided - not a tube
  • Airtech Product: Wrightlon 6400

High Stretch Bag Film

High Stretch Bag Film

A high stretch bagging film for molding complex shapes and for bagging parts in a female tool.  Will stretch approximately 500%.

  • Thickness: .002”
  • Width: 60”
  • Max Operating Temperature: 250 °F
  • Airtech Product: Stretchlon 200

White Peel Ply Release Fabric

White Peel Ply Release Fabric

A polyester release peel ply fabric treated so it will not bond with epoxy. It is used as a backing sheet in lay ups, and will absorb some resin. The peel ply wets out with epoxy, cures with the rest of the layup, and can be peeled off after the epoxy has cured leaving a bondable surface.

  • Thickness: .005"
  • Widths: 2”, 48", 60”
  • Note: White Peel Ply has Less release than the Blue Peel Ply

Super Release Blue Nylon Peel Ply

Super Release Blue Nylon Peel Ply

This Nylon fabric is designed for use in vacuum bag lay-ups and metal to metal bonding with a 480 degree melting point. Excellent air and resin transfer. Its coating provides easy release and a fine surface impression for priming and secondary bonding. It is not recommended for phenolic systems.

  • Thickness: .005"
  • Width: 60”
  • Note: Blue Peel Ply has more release than the White Peel Ply

Breather Cloth

Breather Cloth

Breather cloth is a thin, stretchable, high fill non-woven polyester material that will easily conform to the contours of a part. Specifically designed to allow the vacuum to flow from the bag connector to the end of the tool or to bleed of resin from the laminate. Can be reused if a non-porous release film is used to prevent the breather from absorbing the resin. To control resin content of the laminate use a porous or perforated release film on top of the laminate to allow the resin to be absorbed into the bleeder cloth.

  • Weight: 4 oz.
  • Widths: 15”, 30", and 60”
  • Max Operating Temperature: 400 °F
  • Airtech Product: Airweave N4

MylarŪ (PET Polyester Film)

MylarŪ (PET Polyester Film)

A Mylar® carrier sheet provides a smooth glossy surface for wing skins when vacuum bagging. The Mylar® should be waxed with mold release wax before use.

  • Thickness: .014”
  • Widths: 24", 48"

Non-porous Release film

Non-porous Release film

This release film conforms to complex shapes easily. It can be used to prevent epoxy from sticking to mold or bagging material.

  • Thickness: .001”
  • Width: 60”
  • Airtech Product: RBG125-001

Perforated Release Film

Perforated Release Film

Release film with evenly spaced pin holes that allow controlled removal of excess resin when vacuum bagging. It is applied on top of the wet laminate and then covered with breather felt which blots up the excess resin when the laminate is bagged. We recommend using this product in lieu of peel ply if a bondable surface is not required, since it releases more easily from the cured laminate.

  • Thickness: .002”
  • Width: 60”
  • Airtech Product: Perforations P3

Porous Teflon Coated Glass

Porous Teflon Coated Glass

This glass cloth has been coated with Teflon to form a porous non- bondable fabric that can be used to control the resin content of a laminate during the bagging operation. It is applied directly over the uncured, epoxy impregnated glass, and then covered with a breather mat that will absorb the excess resin. The amount of resin removed is contingent upon the number of layers of bleeder felt used.

  • Thickness: .001"
  • Width: 38”
